September 28 marked the 2575th anniversary of Confucius‘ birth, and an autumn ceremony in the Year of Jiachen was held in Liuyang to commemorate Confucius. Members of various social sectors came together to commemorate the Great Sage and experience the charm of traditional culture in an immersive manner.

祭孔大典在古代被稱作“國之大典”,。2014年，瀏陽文廟祭孔音樂入選為國家級非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)代表性項目,。2015年秋,，瀏陽全面恢復祭孔大典。

The Confucius Memorial Ceremony was known as the "Great Ceremony of the Nation" in ancient times. In 2014, the music for the worship of Confucius from Liuyang Confucian Temple was listed as a representative project of national intangible cultural heritage. In the autumn of 2015, the Confucius Festival was resumed in Liuyang.
