A freight train custom-tailored for Zoomlion pulled out of the Changsha International Railway Port on the evening of August 23, under the supervision of the Xingsha Customs Authority. The train was loaded with 55 containers of goods worth 1.4883 million USD. These goods will be transported to Europe through the Tongjiang Port in Heilongjiang Province.

In the first seven months of this year, a total of 168 "Hunan-made" custom-tailored China-Europe (Changsha) freight trains have been operated, increasing by 33.6% year on year.

今年前7個(gè)月,，中歐班列（長沙）共開行“湖南制造”定制班列168列，同比增長33.6%,。

"Featuring lower transportation cost and higher efficiency, the China-Europe freight train service has become a new option of more and more enterprises to handle their overseas deliveries. In the first seven months of this year, the exports of Changsha's construction machinery through railways increased by 77.9%," said Liu Xia, director of the Central South China International Land Port Co., Ltd. At present, Changsha operates 14 regular China-Europe freight train routes, reaching nearly 30 Eurasian countries and regions. More than 1,000 China-Europe freight trains have been operated in 2023.

The Xingsha Customs Authority guided and developed a special packing assisting framework for the extra large, heavy, and non-standard equipment. It can customize freight trains based on the sizes and characteristics of goods of different enterprises, which can solve the packing problems of special goods and has innovated container transport of non-standard goods in China.
