Changsha South Railway Station handled over 100 million passenger departures and arrivals in 2024, hitting a new record high, according to the station on January 1, 2025.

Over the past year, Changsha South Railway Station has continuously promoted route expansion. On June 15, 2024, the Wuhan-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway started to operate at a standard speed of 350 km/h along its entire length, with 47 pairs of such high-speed trains departing from Changsha South Railway Station to Guangzhou. This further unleashed the line's transport capacity. Meanwhile, extra trains were added to busy sections of the railway including Miluo to Changsha and Changsha to Hengyang, which greatly facilitated the travel of passengers in the province. In 2024, Changsha South Railway Station handled 532 trains per day, an increase of 8% over 2023. At present, Changsha South Railway Station offers direct connections to 12 provincial capitals and one municipality directly under the central government within a travel time of 5 hours, linking it to nearly 300 cities. This has created more convenient conditions for business trips and tourism exchanges.

一年來(lái)，長(zhǎng)沙南站不斷推進(jìn)線路拓展,。6月15日,，京廣高鐵武廣段按350公里時(shí)速高標(biāo)運(yùn)營(yíng)，長(zhǎng)沙南站開(kāi)行前往廣州高標(biāo)運(yùn)營(yíng)車47對(duì),，進(jìn)一步釋放了線路運(yùn)能,。同時(shí)，在汨羅至長(zhǎng)沙,、長(zhǎng)沙至衡陽(yáng)等繁忙區(qū)段分別增開(kāi)列車,，極大方便了省內(nèi)旅客的出行。2024年長(zhǎng)沙南站日均開(kāi)行列車532列,，同比去年增長(zhǎng)8%,。目前，長(zhǎng)沙南站5小時(shí)內(nèi)可達(dá)12個(gè)省會(huì)城市和一個(gè)直轄市,，通達(dá)近三百個(gè)城市,，為商務(wù)出行,、旅游交流等創(chuàng)造了更為便捷的條件。

To cope with the upcoming Spring Festival travel rush, Changsha South Railway Station has continuously paid attention to changes in passenger demand. Beginning January 5, 2025, 16 pairs of high-speed trains will be added and 343 pairs of high-speed trains will be launched, leading to a 4.9% increase in capacity. In addition, trains starting off from the Changsha South Railway Station and arriving at Jieyang and Meizhou in Guangdong Province will be launched for the first time to enhance transport capacity.
